Kamala D. Harris the attorney general at Convention Wearing Pearls

This is a great photo.

Kamala D. Harris, the Attorney General at the California Democrats State Convention in San Diego from this past weekend.

She is wearing a beautiful double strand of large pearls. There are one of three possible thing: (1) natural color Japanese Akoya Saltwater cultured pearls (2) freshwater pearls or (3) imitation pearls.

The size looks like they are at least 9mm if not 10mm. She also has on a really nice set of pearl earrings. I've never seen someone so happy wearing pearls!

There's definitely been an upsurge in the double strand look, we saw it coming a year or two ago with the First Lady Michelle Obama wearing a similar style.

Good find. Yes, that looks pretty close to the size she is wearing. I wonder if she has a double strand clasp, or a single clasp clasp like we feature it in our freshwater pearl necklace.
