I would not recommend that at all.
The bond that adheres the pearl to the metal or gold setting can dissolve if it is exposed to moister, dryness, heat and cold repeatedly.
I have personally seen the nacre of a pearl wear down over time in a pearl ring if it constantly washed along with hand washing.
The thing to remember is that if you do take the ring off, remember to put it back on.
We have sold countless replacement diamond engagement rings on your sister website,
AmericanDiamond.com to women who take off their diamond engagement ring when hand washing only to leave it on the sink for the next person to find.
I hope this helps.
