Nice Pearl Earring Nic!

I have to say that I now understand why that earring is so beautiful! Could you imagine that in white gold! I think that would be perfect for a pearl bridal collection. Actually, yellow gold is coming back! I have to say, even though the earring boasts a perfectly round pearl, something magical happens when you apply a beautifully pave set cap of diamonds above the pearls; they actually feel drop shaped.

I now that this style of earring with a top, and cap is extremely popular with Christies and Sothebys pearl earring styles from my memory of flipping through catalogs and attending auctions for the last 20 years.
