This was an outstanding white south sea pearl necklace we made for one of our most discerning customers. Its composed of 15mm graduating to 16mm natural color white Australian South Sea cultured pearls with a silver overtone.
The customer is one of our most discreet discerning customers who's taste is absolutely impeccable. She requested a continuous strand. That is, the pearls were strung as an opera length without a clasp. As you can see, this is a truly magnificent piece:
Of course, the pearls were strung on double stranded silk thread with double knots to cushion the pearls from scratching one another and protect the pearls from scattering should the pearl necklace accidentally break.
I have to say, seeing her wear the pearls was truly stunning.
